friendship necklaces

This piece is a set of ceramic beads that I created with the intention of turning them into necklaces. The assignment required our pieces to involve some sort of social interaction; and I chose to involve my friends with my concept. The variety of shapes and colors represent different emotions that my group of friends experienced during our time living together in college. We formed a circle and each made a necklace for the person sitting to our right.
